Klaus and Laura were my tour guides to Berlin today. We saw the Reichstag, a bit of the Brandenburger Tor and embassies and many others. I got my Bus and Bahn (Train) pass and the main train station and then we managed to go to TWO chocolate shops in one hour! (See picture below: It's a tiny Brandenburger Tor out of chocolate, they had a bigger model in the window.)
Laura also managed to show me my school and approximately where I will walk. I'm so happy to have her here to explain a few last minute details and good places to go. Although switching from German to English can be a bit demanding.

Tonight we had three different kinds of fish and I sampled them all. Sigrun asked me what I won't eat etc, and I told her I wasn't especially fond of vegetables and she just laughed. We had potatoes and rice and finished it off with a chocolate pudding cup. SUPER good! I'm so afraid I'll gain weight over here that I'm trying really hard to be good. I bought nothing at the chocolate shops and I'm trying to pace myself. Pushups and situps await me in my room.
We are still formulating plans for going to the Brandenburger Tor for New Years Eve and seeing the concerts.
