Women in Equestrian Sports in the
Middle East and North Africa
Currently my research focuses on the increasing participation in women in equestrian sports in North Africa, specifically in Morocco and Libya. I compare the participation of women in traditional horse activities such as fantasia and the more modern sports of dressage and jumping which are all culminated under their countries’ federations.
