Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. I've finally conquered my eye problem and will be back in contacts in a week, so I'm finally "seeing" more of Berlin than before.
I took Aaron, Nadine (from Switzerland) and Liarose skating in the Neu-Köln part of Berlin. They have two rinks. One for hockey and one for skating and we all had a great time, even though it was one of the coldest day yet in Berlin.
Aaron had never skated before in his life, so it was a good first try! He didn't fall once, he learned a bit how to turn and go backwards!

I even worked with Liarose to get her to skate backwards! It's been so great to be on skates after a month off! The season here ends in March, so I will have to make sure I get tons of skating time in before it gets warm!
Big shout out to my friends and Star City Figure Skating club in Lincoln, NE! Check them out! http://starcityfsc.org/
We also said good bye to the Swiss students that were here for two weeks, as well as our great Italian friend Isabella.

And we also said goodbye to Natache (picture below, far right), my horse crazy Swiss friend. I told her I would come and visit her in Geneva when I had a chance. Hopefully I can see her before I leave.
Luckily Fannie (far left) and Nadine plan to be here about as long as the American students, so it will be a good time continuing to get to know them.
This Friday it was Sigrun and Harald's friend, Jani's birthday. Jani is Greek so we went to an AMAZING Greek restaurant for dinner with his family.
Here's Sigrun, Jani's wife Dina and me. We took about 4 shouts of Ouzo and a flaming glass of something after the meal. We had a great time and took home the leftovers. SOOOO goood!
